Policy
VAC is a club for Masters athletes of the age of 35 and over. The club embraces
diversity and difference and is committed to providing opportunities for competition that are safe, inclusive,
accessible, and equitable. The club aims to be equally accessible to all members of society, whatever their age,
disability, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or social/economic status.

OpenTrack data is used for membership and competition management and shared with
third parties to the extent that it is necessary for these purposes. Members have given their permission
for this by joining VAC or another BMAF area club.
OpenTrack data privacy notice
VAC members will only receive messages of general interest in respect of membership
and competition management as well as information about future events in accordance with their Athletics
Interests defined in OpenTrack. They can opt out of these mass communications either by “Unsubscribing” to any
communications or by ticking the opt-out box in their account in OpenTrack.
Entry and participation in a VAC event are conditional on the acceptance of VAC’s
Terms and Conditions for Competitions which refer to the use of personal data and photographic images. Note that
one of the T&Cs has the effect of giving permission for participants’ photographs to be taken during the
competition and thereafter used for website and promotional purposes by the organiser and/or England Athletics.
An individual has the right to request that such images of themselves are removed from publication across all
channels. VAC will use best endeavours to ensure this is carried out at the earliest possible time.
