How to join VAC

 

Click  here and select “OpenTrack Member/Guest Access” to go to BMAF OpenTrack to complete the full membership application process online. You can pay the subscription by Debit or Credit Card using the Stripe payment system and the details will not be stored anywhere after payment verification 

If you are already registered on BMAF OpenTrack, you can join VAC without re-registering.

Subscription Rates:

The membership year runs from April to March.  For the period April to September, the 2018 rates are either:

  • Full First Claim Annual Membership, including the £15 levy for England Athletics =£33.00  
  • Second Claim to VAC = £18.00   

New second claim members joining in the period October - March will only pay for a half-year membership at a cost of £9.

UKA registration is mandatory for all club members competing in registered track & field events, individual road race and cross country championships and any team competitions

Before you are confirmed as a VAC member, you will need to send a copy of your passport details, as proof of date of birth and nationality, to the Membership Secretary by post or a scanned copy/digital photo by email to membership@vetsac.org.uk.  If you were born abroad, please also supply a copy of your birth certificate.

You will not be able to compete in VAC or BMAF events until this is done

Please complete printed form, sign and send with a copy of your passport details, as proof of date of birth and nationality proof of age, and payment of the annual subscription (Cheques payable to VETERANS AC) to the Membership Secretary: Peter Kennedy, 14 Keere St, Lewes BN7 1TY

 

Change of Personal Details

All VAC members should go to the BMAF websiteand select “OpenTrack Member/Guest Access” to change their personal details.

Alternatively, if you do not wish to use the online procedure and this is agreed with the Membership Secretary, DOWNLOAD a PDF version membership application form  Please write in only the changed data and post to Peter Kennedy, 14 Keere St, Lewes BN7 1TY

 

Renewals

You can renew your subscription here

The annual membership is still £18.  The membership year last from April to March and there everyone is expect to renew as follows:

1) If you are second claim member of VAC, pay £18 to extend membership through to 
1st April 2019.  EA registration for 2018-19 will be paid by your first claim club.

2) If you are a first claim member of VAC, pay £33 to extend membership through to 
1st April 2019.  This includes the England Athletics registration fee which has increased to £15 for 2018-19.  This is mandatory for all club members competing in registered track & field events, individual road race and cross country championships and any team competitions

3) if you are non-competing member of VAC, pay £18 to extend membership through to 
1st April 2019

Please contact the membership secretary for further information or assistance.

Payment by cheque is still possible but only if agreed with the membership secretary.  The cheque should be made out to Veterans AC and sent to the membership secretary, Peter Kennedy, 14 Keere St, Lewes BN7 1TY, accompanied if possible by the cover sheet included with the VAC newsletter or your latest membership acknowledgement.  This can also be used to mark any changes you wish to make to your personal details.
