How to join or renew your membership or change personal details

 

Join VAC 

VAC is an area club within the British Masters Athletics Federation. Join VAC by clicking hereto go to the OpenTrack BMAF Membership and Competition Management System to register and complete the membership application process online. 

You can pay the subscription by Debit or Credit Card using the Stripe payment system. The details will not be stored anywhere after payment verification.   

If you are already registered on BMAF OpenTrack, you can join VAC without re-registering.

VAC Subscription Rates for 2023 - 2024

The membership year runs from April to March.  From 01/04/2023 the subscription rate will be either:

-        First Claim Annual Membership of VAC = £29 (£12 membership plus £17 annual registration fee for England Athletics)  

-        Second Claim membership of VAC = £12      

Current (paid-up) UKA registration (with England Athletics or Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish equivalents) is mandatory for all club members competing in licensed Track & Field events, individual road race and cross-country championships and any team competitions.

If you join in the period October – March, you will only pay a half-yearly rate: £6 for ordinary membership plus a further £17 if you are becoming a first claim member of VAC and you do not have a current (paid-up) registration with UKA/England Athletics. If you join in February or March, you can receive these months free and pay £12 for 14 months membership.         

Before you are confirmed as a VAC member, you will need to send a copy of the relevant page of your passport, as proof of date of birth and nationality, to the Membership Secretary by post or a scanned copy/digital photo by email to membership@vetsac.org.uk.  If you were born abroad, please also supply a copy of your birth certificate.

You may not be able to compete in VAC or BMAF events until this is done.

VAC Members’ Renewals for 2023-2024

Renew VAC membership by clicking hereto go to the OpenTrack BMAF Membership and Competition Management System. Log in with your username and password to access your account and renew your membership online. 

Renewals for 2023-24 opened in February 2023.

You can pay by Debit or Credit Card using the Stripe payment system. The details will not be stored anywhere after payment verification.   

VAC Subscription Rates for 2023 - 2024

The membership year is from the beginning of April to the end of March.

1)    If you are a second claim member of VAC, pay £12 to extend membership through to 1st April 2024.

2)    If you are first claim member of VAC, pay £29 to extend membership through to 1st April 2024. This includes the England Athletics registration fee of £17 for 2023-24. This is mandatory for all club members competing in licensed Track & Field and cross country events, individual road race championships and any team competitions

3)    If you are a non-competing member of VAC, pay £12 to extend membership through to 1st April 2024.

If your membership has lapsed and you decide to re-join in the period October 2023 – March 2024, you will pay a half-yearly rate: £6 for ordinary membership plus a further £17 if you were or wish to be a first claim member of VAC and you do not have a current (paid-up) registration with England Athletics for 2023-24. If you re-join in February or March, you can receive these months free and pay £12 for 14 months membership.

Payment by cheque is still possible but only if agreed with the Membership Secretary. The cheque should be made payable to VETERANS AC and sent with a covering note to the Membership Secretary, Peter Kennedy, 14 Keere St, Lewes BN7 1TY.  


Change Personal Details

VAC members should go to their OpenTrack account and change their personal details. Guidance notes on completion are here.
